Bob Ross made smoking weed in college even more worthwhile than it would have been normally.

I saw them on the NINJA tour, and…wow…what a cerebral interview for music that was vapid at its core.

    Frustration
I keep trying to score, but end up getting ground rule doubles all the time.

if the movie dark days was anything like the movie dark city, it would have been far less depressing. though it did have that dj shadow score…

I think that the people who are least sensitive and/or care the least about seeing new york get destroyed in a movie are new yorkers.

I'm sorry, but the full effect of watching the entire movie in one sitting is very necessary. As is alcohol, and or any cornucopia of other drugs that can be consumed during said movie. With the youtube clip, you don't get the full context of why it was essential for the plot to drop-kick leelee sobieski (which should

I was going to bring this up. While I think Dark City actually has the stronger cult now (i know tons of people who own and quote dark city, but none who own the crow), certainly the crow had the stronger pop culture impact at the time. People still dress up as the crow for halloween (even people not alive to actually

There is a "fast-food" burger place in union square (where they still make the patties by hand and cut up the potatoes in front of you) called Blue 9, which has a SICK mango-chile sauce.

I just learned about Lamington cakes, which are fucking awesome.

same thing happened to me, perfect.

Isn't ketchup, mayo, and mustard….russian dressing? That's what I always called it.

I like the new danger (having recently listened to that and tru magic back to back), but I was always a bit annoyed by the cover of "takeover," where he says "quasi-homosexuals are running this rap shit." I'm not sure what exactly that means, but c'mon Mos…you've worked in movies and on broadway, you don't need to

    Live
She is worth going to see live, particularly if she has a band backing her up.

I actually quite liked edit. Soviet Kitch was a bit erratic for me (though I still love "your honor," but Begin to Hope is almost fully listenable from beginning to end. And Hotel Song is her best, by far.

    Mayo
The differences between countries in mayo I think sounds a little more extreme than the ketchups. Every time I have japanese or chinese mayo, the texture and flavor creep me out a little bit, and if I remember, aussie mayo is oddly sweet.

I think if you have a food processor, it's actually pretty easy to make.

Vegemite can be tolerable after long periods of exposure, but it still tastes like spreadable soy sauce to me. When I was living with families in Australia, they all had a bottle, but none of them professed to actually like or eat it (they all said they kept a bottle around for "company.")

Lots of places in NY serve spicy ketchup now, to be pretentious about their food. Heck, the Wylie Dog at PDT has "tomato molasses." It also has fried mayo, but that's another story.

I had some honker ale at the new mets stadium on sunday. Not too bad, if you ask me (the beer, not the mets)

    Heinz Ketchup or Hunts Catsup?
