    Don't Toy With Me
Back when the Ten came out, they had a trailer for the DVDs to be released that summer. THAT summer.

I imagine a rundown is just a list of clients and contact information.

It would make sense, I think Don Pardo is like 91 years old.

Definitely a knock on steve jobs, down to the turtleneck.

Yeah…last summer they had a trailer for it…for last summer.

    io9.com
don't go to io9.com right now, because they give the exact same news, but with a headline that gives away who will be playing alpha. thanks, io9, the website that gives away spoilers in headlines, and calls heroes "one of the greatest sci fi shows ever."

Frito - you win comment o' the week.

Pretty sure Crichton was a registered Republican, who donated a bunch o' money on the cause.

Alice & Thru The Looking Glass
I think, for myself and a lot of other people who grew up in the 80s, the ne plus ultra of alice adaptations is the TV movie version, with carol channing, sammy davis jr, etc.

Agreed with MBS - it's more of a cult BECAUSE of its success. It brought anime into the american pop culture mainstream even more than akira (the truest of true anime cults).

Entertainment like Alice in Wonderland goes a long way in explaining the psyche of the Victorian Age.

    Liked it
I enjoyed this ep mainly because I know so many people who do that very thing - perform mental gymnastics to work themselves into being responsible for something they were merely a spectator to.

@dada - agreed: mencia is too low on the totem pole and not really worth even mentioning, other than to quickly make fun of him for not being funny, then beating him to death and shoving fishsticks down his neck-hole.

They use that a lot - making some parallel point while the camera focuses on the celebrity. I like it when it's more ham-fisted, like the butters "MURDERER" episode with OJ and Gary Condit, or the "CHEATER" episode with Barry Bonds.

"Let me show you by auguring my tongue into your mouth."

Yes, but did you know that Rashida Jones invented the flea market?

She did an interview with Conan O'Brien where she mentioned that her sisters have more and more african-sounding names as her father got older, like, from Susan to Stacy to Chanese to Rashida to Kidada. She then said that if her father had another child now, it would probably be named [unintelligible african clicking

Yes, certainly that helped her with harvard and whatnot, but I think the point is that, whether or not she had an easy go of being able to do what she wants, it's clear that what she wants isn't learning how to vapidly smile at cameras and snort coke.

I cannot really decipher what the fuck Parma is saying, but ditto to pretty much everything Neophyte said.

You can tell she's on another level when no one can really think of anything blue to say. The woman is amazing, and her conan o'brien interview still ranks as one of my favorite. I've heard terrible things about P&R, but will basically watch it just to support her career (and aziz, who I went to college with, and is
