I'd like to talk about the editing work that goes into a clip show. It can't be that easy, even with electronic, searchable copies of all the scripts pointing you to where/when a particular line or gag can be found in an episode. I can't imagine individuals clips were archived and tagged digitally in the early 90s.…

The know there need to be two people left at the end. In the lead up, they can do whatever they want to goose the drama.

Because there's a timeslot to fill and the slavering maw of the American public demands fresh content.
