They didn't do the first few. Studio Pierrot of Japan did.

Interesting points, but at the end of the day I think you have to let the Avatar fantasy play by it's own rules.

I really hope they don't

A lot of things in this episode reminded me of Lost. For instance, Korra washing up on a mysterious island and being taken to a temple and put into a pool of water. All that stuff happened to Sayid. Also the eternal struggle between light and dark is reminiscent of Jacob and the man in black.

Am I the only one who thinks dana is a fantastic character? She's probably my second favorite after saul.
