Hey, don't knock ESPN. Of everything you mentioned, it's the only network that deals in actual journalism.

Here's the thing, the people who love Fox News LOVE Fox News. MSNBC and CNN can only dream of mustering that sort of devotion (which is why they hire babbling hacks like Rick Sanchez to be professional babbling hacks).
It's amazing how underqualified people make themselves out to be. I work at a high-end movie theater, essentially middle management (shows you "high-end," when there's middle management), and we're a popular place to apply. However, we get application after application after application that's just awful. Sometimes,…
It's a bummer they stopped reviewing "Weeds" this season, just as it started returning to decency. Still ain't great, but at least it's no longer a meandering mess.
I even sashay'd once, but that was in front of the draft board.
The use of unnecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blues Brothers has been approved.
I'm implying that they're incapable of love. When you live at arm's length of everything, you numb your emotions. They barely know who they are, having spent years defining themselves by music and movies and by being distant.
"King's Speech" is supposed to be great, every trailer and clip I've seen has backed this up, and it's got a damn solid lineup. Yes, I'm excited.
@HipsterDBag: I didn't say it was the only film. Right now, I'm excited for "127 Hours," "Black Swan," and "The King's Speech." There are a few others that mildly intrigue me ("Somewhere," "The Tempest," "Blue Valentine"), but that about does it.
Hipsters don't love anything.
I think what he picked up on was the derisive laughter following their realization that they're in a bar with someone they saw on VH-1 once, and how cool is their night that it's Henry Rollins and I don't remember the name of his band, but his angry guy thing is really funny. We're so clever.
I kinda thought so at first, but the trailer for "127 Hours" really worked on me, not to mention festival buzz.
"Are funny car chases ever really that funny?"
Answer: yes. "Blues Brothers." Probably never since then. Though the one in "Mesrine: Killer Instinct" was quite entertaining, for what it's worth. Which is nothing.
Eliot Spitzer was what ruined "Inside Job" for me
There's a segment toward the end when Spitzer talks about debauchery among the Wall Street execs, then there's text saying that the people Spitzer tracked as NY Attorney General took him down with personal slandering. As if Spitzer's use of a prostitute was more…
An Australian paint-by-numbers crime film
So it's just following in the wake of "Animal Kingdom," then.
Only a B-, huh?
That's disappointing to hear. This is one of the few Oscar season films I'm actually excited about.
Yeah, I'm sorry, but are you standing up for "W"?? Did you even watch that movie? It was a preposterous mess that reeked of indifference-borderline-mockery (does anyone really think Richard Dreyfuss sincerely thought about making Dick Cheney human?).
How do you write a 300-page sneer?
I'd get really frustrated really fast with 300,000,000 people telling each other "Goodnight."
To be totally fair
I don't think Bush quite understood the context of Lauer's question when he responded, "Don't care." Based on the transcript, Lauer's question seemed a little vague, so Bush rushed an off-the-cuff response (a PR error consistent with his and his successor's tenures).
