Man, that was great. I thought next he was going to flip her a quarter so she could take a bus downtown and have a rat gnaw that thing off her face.

You beat me to this one.
Hey, True Detective,
I feel you on those aerial shots. This show is fucking gorgeous. It's a lot more elegant than I expected it to be from the trailers. I really love that it's heavy on still shots, which not only do a great job of showing off the beautiful landscapes in the outdoor scenes, but they also make the more private,…
Man that's awesome.
EMERSON LAKE PALMER AKA DIRTY LARVA SPRAY HARDER
I'd agree that it's admirable to wish politicians would stand up for what they believe in, and generally I've agreed with the majority of what The Newsroom has had to say thus far, but the show's biggest problem is its failure to articulate that worldview through a cast of empathetic characters or a consistently…
When I heard that snark line, I regarded it as more or less a declaration of war on the likes of the AV Club.
"Snark is the idiot's version of wit."
Just wanted to make sure KEN Mode's Entrench got a mention in this discussion. Solid album by a great Canadian band.
I think Kerry Condon is lovely, but Indira Varma on Rome was one of my all-time television crushes. She's gorgeous.
Gus was a G. I wish I'd read far enough down to find this comment before I replied up above, because you nailed it.

I'm hoping that none of that synopsis is accurate and that what's actually going to happen instead is something like Looper, where Family Guy suddenly pops out of the time tunnel blindfolded in a cornfield where a 9th-season The Simpsons is waiting with a blunderbuss that it will dutifully turn on itself afterwards.
Yeah I probably should have prefaced that with "aside from your ZMF mention, this is apropos of nothing whatsoever."
I think she's only imagineering all this criticism, anyway.
I posted this last night on the tail end of that Dan Brown newswire but it didn't seem to get any traction there, so this is as good a place as any to shoehorn it in again. Sample:
This should really have gone up under Great Job Internet! and has nothing whatsoever to do with Dan Brown, but Deadspin just ran this piece by our own pride and joy, ZMF, and it's fantastic.
The "Fozzie Bear, nice guy, waka-waka bullshit" routine.
He has stolen virtually every scene he's been in, it seems to me.
