Even the soundtrack sounds the same.

DIE YUPPIE SCUM
NOAM CHOMPSKY FLAILT AT UNCLE MUD, HE SAID "I'M AM GOING TO EAT YOU ALIVE" AND GROUND HIS KNIFE AND FORK TOGETHER HORRIBLY
Pretty sure MacReady destroyed his computer because she was a cheatin' bitch.
I saw the movie first. That's probably why I like it. And I'll probably see The Hunger Games movie before I get around to reading it. Same with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
There needs to be a post about Battle Royale so I can ask why would I not just read/watch The Hunger Games.
I've read the book and manga, as well as seen the movie version of Battle Royale, and I love all of them for different reasons.
I have a hard time believing this flick will go to the disturbing (and awesome) places that Battle Royale went. I love Battle Royale, and it scares the bejeesus out of me. Probably the most terrifying non-horror movie for me.
So… why would I not just watch Battle Royale?
I was actually happy for the lack of slo-mo action in the fight scenes. It really only happens twice. But damn, when the gods come down and start fighting, it's actually pretty awesome. Otherwise, it's a dumb movie, but boy does it look good.
PUDDITAHNMYTAHHHHHHB
All? I thought it was just pool sex with Elizabeth Berkley…
Yeah, hey, glad to hear this show doesn't give my city all that bad a name. But I will never watch it ever.
Yeah, man. Salamandastron is easily my favorite Redwall book. I think the last one I read was Loamhedge, but I was definitely just reading for nostalgia's sake by that point. Still, was pretty sad that Brian Jacques died. Those books were solid starter fantasy for the kiddies.
Ditto. Bring back Wrapped Up In Books, or something similar. It definitely helped me know what's going on with newer Fiction, because i'm usually about 50+ years behind the curve in what I read.
Some great moments in this one, and some really, really bum ones, but that punchline song when he's in the pickup at the end is killer. So funny.
I really don't understand the hate for Raconte-Moi Une Histoire. Look past the kiddie talk… it's an incredible song. Pure joy.
Somebody got to the blood!
You buy any of this, Blair?
Right on time.
