Know it almost word for word. I probably should be worried if only I didn't have friends that do know it exactly word for word.

I like the show and all
But I hope it starts making sense of why Laura Linney is doing what she is doing because her hurting the few people that would want anything to do with her just because she doesn't want to say she has the cancer that has made her act increasingly erratic and understandably on edge is just…..…

It made no sense, was completely incongruous, and was completely tonally different from the rest of the movie. Especially when the movie was going to end on a very effective, reflective note.

I've repeatedly called Parenthood my weakly dose of earnestness, and I appreciate it for this. I don't think there's an ounce of irony in this show, and it is pretty refreshing. The acting is fantastic as well.
