Anyone that wasn't praising Wind Waker from the moment they actually played it (not the pre-release when everyone was worried about kiddie Cel-da) is crazy.

I never see this song mentioned anywhere for great Christmas music, but it was a tradition around my house to play Arlo Guthrie's The Pause Of Mr. Claus every year.  For a long time, it was the only Christmas music my parents owned.

The banner picture is already 80% of the movie.  Throw in some shots of Ben Affleck walking lazily away from the camera with his arms outstretched brushing the tops of the grain and it's done.

Plus they can replace them and no one can tell the diddly-ifference

Waiting for DVD releases is for suckers.

Part of the "problem" with Parks and Rec is that you do need to watch it every week or at least be familiar with the characters.  Much of the joy of Parks and Rec is simply seeing how the characters interact with each other more so that what's actually happening. You can't understand that if you just started watching

It seems strange to me that they would even have the former employees in the Secret Santa.

Neil comes across as a bastard because of one line in my opinion.  He tells Brent, after Brent calls him "pathetic," that he was mildly embarrassed to be considered Brent's equal.  That is a really shitty thing to say to an employee or anyone.  It's important to note that this might be the only time we ever see Neil

While Brent is sexist, I don't think that this bit was intended to be sexist beyond his natural inclination to separate couples into stereotypical gender assignments. He probably considers any couple to breakdown ultimately into man does the work, woman does the washing up roles. He would have said that about any

I have considered that Jennifer didn't care on the basis that it no one complained. I've had times where I've had to reprimand people at work for things I thought were hilarious but would have let slide if no one had complained.

For the most part, people seem to like whichever one they saw first.

Neil versus Brent's comedy
I always thought that the brief routines given by each to the employees were handled somewhat badly. Brent's material is, at the start, on the same level as Neil's but gets zero laughs while Neil gets pretty solid laughs throughout.

As someone that works at a theater, you aren't the first to ask for money back based on the amount of ads.

Ricky saying the nervous breakdown comment was a joke was more a way to cover saying something he clearly shouldn't have said/known. I wouldn't say it completely rules out Brent having one before the documentary.

Robinson Crusoe on Mars
Despite being preposterously unrealistic for a movie pretending to be, it works pretty well if you accept it's major conceit that there could be livable conditions of Mars. If it had been a fictional planet, the film would be a lot less laughable.

The ukulele thing isn't a stunt. He's been playing ukulele for years and Pearl Jam has released a couple songs with Vedder solo on ukulele. He's even played small live shows with nothing but ukulele music and that was close to five years ago.

Best episode of Get A Life is either the spelling bee episode or 1977 2000.

I thought the reference to Alta Vista worked better before Adam Scott pointed it out.

Crazy Ira and The Douche
I don't know why I love morning drive parody so much, but it never fails to make me laugh.
