If you ask someone to describe the character of Mary Jane Watson, then (assuming they know her at all) the first thing 90% of them would say is "redhead".

I dunno you guys… Mary Jane Watson has one of the most iconic appearances in comics history. It is not a look that this Zendaya person shares.

Hey, you shouldn't have any problem getting a cab.

I saw, I think, Billy Bush on the Today Show this morning, talking about his interview with Lochte about this incident. He basically said he believed Lochte's story, because he didn't think Lochte was smart enough to make something up.

I am 100% sure that the fans worry much more about the MCU connectedness than ANY of the creators, up to and including Kevin Feige.

Freeform and ABC are part of the same umbrella, but they're run by different people (a la Fox and FX).

This is why I laugh when people say Geoff Johns will fix the tone of the DCCU. Yeah, let's put the guy who fetishized casual limb severing and unheroic sacrifices in charge. He'll fix everything!

I liked the Dick-as-Batman stuff (but it was way too short!), and thought Damian had his moments.

Huh? Invisibles was in the 90s, Filth was 2002, Final Crisis was 2008.

I didn't dig Final Crisis at all, but for me, it was his Batman run. Although there were parts of it I liked, overall I found that there was little appeal unless: a) you had already read a whole bunch of Morrison, or b) you had already read a whole bunch of Batman. Left me fairly cold.

The director of the mid-2000s Fantastic Four films is black. Also, perhaps, not a great example.

Kang makes so little sense as a FF-related character that he must have been something that Fox bought explicitly.

Arrow / Flash / Supergirl / Gotham and so on all seem to have the exact same writing and directorial style

Keeping Downey as IM is probably the easier than, say, keeping Evans as Cap. Downey doesn't have to do a lot of stunts, doesn't have to go through the crazy workouts that Evans, Hemsworth, Scarlet, etc., do.

Dude, there's nothing humanizing about shows like this.

Also: their president — the very person quoted in this article — is a black woman. Seems somewhat relevant.

Other than Coulson, I think the only movie character to ever appear on Agents of SHIELD was Sif.

Darwin is Afro-Hispanic in the comic books, but I don't know if he was in X-Men: First Class.

Since WB *owns* DC (not in a slang way… literally), that ain't happening.

Yeah, and then (apparently) they smushed the two cuts together in the hopes of pleasing everyone.
