Her loss, then. The individual heights of Buckingham's and Nick's songs are greater than McVie's, but McVie is probably more consistent than the other two.

The Matrix: The one movie where fake-looking CGI effects is kinda the point.

On the one hand, editorial standards around here have slipped tremendously, both in form and content.

I love how many qualifiers there have to be to make this significant.

The Daily Show isn't as good for much the same reason The Nightly show isn't very good… They focus on agenda first, comedy second, therefore the show is more lectoring and haranguing than laughs. (Daily Show isn't quite as bad at this as Nightly.)

THERE'S ENOUGH ROOM FOR A SMALL SACK OR MAYBE JUST A COUPLE OF GRAINS!!

I thought it was predictable in that a) it was obvious that there was going to be some twist ending, and b) the one they chose would've been the "biggest" twist, simply because it was the most unlikely.

I mean… Can we prove that no one in Egyptian history ever put some grain into a pyramid, and then later retrieved it?

Just to hone in on your last point… Under a hereditary monarchy, the status of the queen's womb is pretty much *everybody's* business. From the High Sparrow to the lowliest beggar, the people have a vested interest in having an orderly line of succession. We've seen what happens when this is absent.

The show so rarely displays the common perspective that I don't think we can read anything into the absence of commoner's brought up on charges. We only see him interact with the main characters — all nobles — so he addresses what their problems are. That doesn't mean he isn't concerned with what the poor do… but

I mean… he is the *High* Sparrow. The Pope isn't going to meet out atonement to Regular Joe Catholic; that's what all the priests of the world are for.

I like the High Sparrow as well. Jonathan Pryce is, of course, very charismatic, plus I appreciate any sort of check on the seemingly unlimited and brutal power of these spoiled monarchists.

Raditude has the the best cover, though.

It always seemed completely tongue-in-cheek to me? It's, I think, an intentionally goofy song, but for some reasons fans take it way too seriously.

Well, Han didn't believe her about the tracking device, and he was the one piloting the ship.

    Deep cut. Nice.

I seem to recall that Marvel WAS playing up her role. I think they made a big deal about having a woman writer. And it was Gunn himself, with his typical bluntness, who claimed that he rewrote the whole thing.

Toad got a big upgrade, though.

    LOGAN!!!!

I'LL HAVE YOUR BADGE AND CLAWS FOR THIS!!!!!
