Axis had a some interesting ideas and so cool characters beats; it really should've been decent. But it didn't gel at all.

Well this is — no snark — a very thorough, sensible answer. Much appreciated!
I thought I read a Newswire a while back that said they were planning on this?
I doubt Warner Bros. would grant access to their library to a streaming service over HBO. (WB and HBO are owned by the same parent company.)
From the article: these are the post-Blu-ray, pre-cable slots. So FX can still (potentially) run them, but it would be well after Netflix has had them.
I assume Disney had to wait for their contract with Starz to expire.
So the micro-niche programming trend of cable is to blame? Why watch a broad-based sports channel when I can have something more specific?
I only ever watched it for college football, and I still will.
That's so baffling to me, that ESPN went from Disney's most profitable branch to it's biggest liability in, like, a couple of years.
Damn kidney stones!
I can't speak to the particulars of your specific dorm room, of course, but I'd be willing to bet that most dorm rooms at most colleges have a cable outlet. (A quick Google search supports this.)
That's his gimmick. Read the headline, type the first random comment that comes into his head.
While some of these shows were playing in syndication on basic cable channels, as a student my access to a TV with DVR capabilities was limited. Like any millennial, I had cut cords and relied on streaming services for all of my television needs.
Ah, that's interesting. The only thing I know about Wookiee linguistics is from one of the Zahn books, which had a Wookiee with a speech impediment that made him easier for humans to understand.
No. There's no way any deity is from Texas.
Here's the thing I don't get… Presumably, the name "Chewbacca" is a transliteration of how the Wookiees pronounce the word. But I've never heard anything close to a "ch" or "b" or "c" sound coming out of a Wookiee's mouth.
The fact that he's so concerned with looking cool says… well, something.
Probably for the best. It's a one-joke plot point, and not a great joke at that.
Ugh, it's hideous! Take it away!
Not as long as Celine Dion exists.
