I sincerely hope that they don't lean toward the sitcom format.  Evidence that they won't and that they acknowledge they're treading dangerously near such territory is the canned laughter and pseudo-sitcomish music at the end of the "Missionaries" episode (also at the end of the "Spoilers" skit.)
