At least Duncan Jones has the sense to be a film director and not a musician. Moon is awesome.

Just saw Casablanca for the first time last week when they did the special 70th anniversary rerelease in theaters. It really is an amazing film and deserving of all the accolades it's gotten over the years. It's also a really funny movie.
Why are you unpopular with the Chicago Police Department?
They'll be adults in this? Well, Elijah Wood is in his 30s now…
@avclub-79557cb93066f4470b8cee6e9110f757:disqus It's available on dvd in both the US and UK (I don't know where you live). It's available on Netflix dvd, but not streaming.
@google-30073d1b178677b042e3886dbd6e4544:disqus I have seen it. It is awesome.
Thanks!
I was curious to see this, largely due to the cast, so I'm disappointed by the review. Has anyone else seen it?
The Princess Bride?

Ukelele is the watchword.
Would you say you're open to trying new things?
Opening scene with Ted and the mother standing in the rain. Wedding Bride III is on the marquee.
Hmm, I say it both ways. Generally "uh" but will use the long a version for emphasis.

I would love to see reviews of the Kermode/Mayo podcast.
I just thought it was a funny coincidence. And both times I've attended DLM they were fantastic shows, so thanks!
I've only been able to go because I've been unemployed. I've got some work starting next week, so that's probably the end of live DLM for me.
I attended the Doug Loves Movies taping. Weirdly, I've only been to two and both times they slammed Marc Maron. Hmm.
Silent films almost always had musical soundtracks - they just needed to be performed live at the screenings.
