Tuesday's The Daily Show
Did no one see yesterday's The Daily Show?!

Hotel Babylon
So I wondered about this and looked it up tonight. As it turns out, Overman was a writer for a few episodes of "Hotel Babylon," which may explain why two of the actors (Michael Obiora and Dexter Fletcher) appear in "Misfits."

Seriously. I had things I wanted to say about the episode, but now that image of Matthew Morrison has erased all the words from my brain.

@olaf: I disliked series three and four of "Skins," but I loved series one and two, and series five won me over because the kids were *less* out of control. It definitely has its problems, lots of them, but I don't hate it. The U.S. version on the other hand: Horrible.

OH! And: It might have been rushed, but it's another example of Misfits zigging when I expected them to zag.

I agree, it did seem rushed, but I had more of a problem with that scene in the interrogation room. That seemed too easily resolved too quickly for me.

Again with the Simon love…
…but come on! The scene with him talking about just wanting everyone to be his friend? Totally tugged at me. Even though he had to explain killing his probation worker. I really don't like what this show does to my sense of right and wrong.

To the extent you can call fiction "real life," I think the thing that really got me about the U.K. version is how well I could identity with it, and how well it stuck to telling stories about the "real people" in the office, which I think the U.S. version is missing. I don't see any of those characters as being true

Series Two
A couple of years ago, I sat through the whole series (including the special) with a friend thinking he'd like it (he's a huge fan of the U.S. version). At the end of seven hours, he hated it.

@olaf - I'm also surprised at how eager I've been to rewatch each episode. I can't wait for next week even though I already know what happens. Actually, the excitement is probably because I know what happens.

Loose ends
The fact that they didn't wrap up the Sally story is another in the long list of reasons to like a show like "Misfits." Sure, you still had your obligatory season-ending cliffhanger, but a lesser show would have bothered us with the immediate legal consequences of Simon's actions or a retread of the "what

Most definitely worth seeing. Does anyone know if Hulu is taking a break between the two? I hope not.

Oh, yeah, Russell Tovey. I hate to agree, because he was one of the few enjoyable parts of "Being Human" series three, but you may be right. Especially his crying…

Probably no the best scene of the series, but one of my favorites from this season:

Eve Myles/Gwen Cooper
I know this was a discussion last week, but since I don't have Starz, I'm on a delayed viewing schedule.

C'mon y'all.
I know I'm not the only one who waited for the NBC run of episodes to watch this. No one has anything to say?

Yeah, I assumed that as well, but she told him the first time because she said something she shouldn't have known.

I registered just so I could respond to this because it's been bugging me since I finished all the episodes.
