Coven was crap pretty much from the beginning.

Juice has become a human plot device, so I'm not expecting much in the way of redemption. Plus, I think he's ultimately more tormented by losing his "family" than he is by the murders he's committed.

For the most part.

Wendy is still worth rooting for. And I can't help rooting for Nero.

I don't see much redemption for Juice, who has murdered (at least) four innocent people.

Those boys are only neglected by their father. We see them constantly under the supervision of Wendy, Gemma, the babysitter, Chucky, various SOA members, or at school (Abel). Not saying it's the best supervision (see hammer), but they are not neglected.

With good reason.

So basically A Knight's Tale?

Because Talia Balsam (Mrs. John Slattery) is Joyce Van Patten's (Mrs. Zeller) daughter.

:::followed by Ben Wyatt Fanfiction:::

I was thinking about her TV heyday (and even that part of her career goes back to the '50s), but point taken.

Old Mrs. Zeller under the boardwalk was played by Tim Van Patten's half-sister Joyce, a hard-working character actress since the '70s.

Again, see The Americans (for John-Boy as "seemingly" good guy).

Even the son's two ex-girlfriends?

I believe a couple of Mad Men's protagonists are dismissive atheists, but I'm not positive. Certainly the two leads on The Americans had a whole storyline about their atheism and contempt for Christianity. The Good Wife is on CBS, though, which makes this indeed impressive.

Ka-chinging it, since the movie made over $350 mil worldwide.

Another airplane viewer here, and I also liked it.

Nothing to add to this but agreement.

Bob? That slicked back paddy with all the gold in his mouth? Don't try to play me for yesterday's fool 'cuz I'll slap your ass into the middle of next week. I'm sorry, baby, that's the rules.

Nope, and nope.
