I agree. If it's propaganda, what was it supposed to influence people to do?  I always thought that's what made propaganda distinct from other media; it presents only one side of an issue, usually in an extreme way, to influence the viewers' thoughts and actions.  When companies do it, it's advertising, when the

I think you're right.  I could not recall if the moonshine toss was to punctuate that line or the Colonel's description of the nuclear exchange.  The more I think about the cheesy awesomeness, the closer my cursor goes to the 'Buy' instead of 'Rent' icon during the imminent rewatching.

Good God, the original might be one of the biggest goofy movie quote factories this side of Tombstone…

Bought the first one, looking forward to the second.  'Partly Cloudy' alone is worth something to me; I don't know why, but I think it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.  When the cloud unveils the baby electric eel?  Priceless.

Yes, thank you!  I saw Loose Change after I had heard it talked about as, at a minimum, an interesting take on the events of 9/11 that was thought provoking and fairly well done.  When I finally watched it, I was incredulous not so much that it was so bad but that it had been billed as a legitimate documentary.

I've only been to Russia once, and it was pretty much like Thailand except it was cold and everyone was white.  You can take that any way you want.  To caveat, this was Vladivostok, not 'real' Russia, as the locals themselves described it.

Although I know basically nothing about his work, I feel the need to chime in on Drew Carey since he's the only celebrity I've actually had a conversation with.  I spent some time between the initial push into Afghanistan and the invasion of Iraq on Diego Garcia, a small island in the Indian Ocean most widely known as

I feel equally unrepresented by both parties.   I hate rich assholes and their wannabe acolytes, so I can't be a Republican, but I hate condescending, self-important dickbags whose idea of government is basically being the kid who ran for class president in grade school on a platform of bringing candy to school every

When I first started flying for the Navy, I assumed everyone spent their time reading books about planes and building model airplanes and playing flight sim games and getting a civilian pilot's license.  There were a couple other airplane nerds, but a lot more people just sort of fell into it halfway through college

Yeah, it looks like pretty much the worst of all worlds as pieces of gear go.  Very complicated, not well protected, and not doing anything to justify the added complexity and vulnerability.  Might be good as a walking heavy weapons platform, but i don't see any heavy weapons or ammo to use whatever capacity the suit

If you're into that kind of thing, try Armor by John Steakley as well.
