Phew. My 25-year-old self is happy to find out she's not the only one who likes this episode. I was starting to think I've failed completely at being a Trekker. Or Trekkie. Can never remember which one is which.

I'm pretty sure I've seen dogs on the Enterprise. Wasn't there a full litter in the nursery in one Alexander episode?

"'Man of the People' could have been a great, really dark episode, but the writers and director wussed out."

Wait, wasn't "The Perfect Mate" supposed to be the most sexist TNG episode?

I'm pretty sure people actually die in automobiles every day.

The oh-so-safe transporters
So, nothing out of the ordinary has ever happened to Geordi during transport? Poor guy is too used to near-death experiences to even remember The Next Phase.

Time's Arrow - not *that* bad.
Wow. Having watched the both parts for the first time last night, I actually enjoyed "Time's Arrow". Granted, it's not "Best of Both Worlds", and I found things like Guinan's refusal to help Riker odd to say the least, but I found myself very much entertained throughout the two episodes.

Apparently we do. Volcanic eruptions and snow in May. What more could you ask for?

We had an earthquake and a volcanic eruption at the designated hour here in Iceland, but that's hardly unusual enough to count as apocalypse. Provided us some amusement, though.

Nah, Nemesis is bad in a bad way. Generations is bad in an embarrassing way.
