I suppose I should also post this, though I didn't want to fall into the standard "Peggy is just like meee!" trope.  But man, did this one hit close to home.  I worked for 5 years at a company where I had a true mentor as a boss - and admittedly could often cross into co-dependency.  We were a team, worked late hours,

Thing is, I think it was less "leaving a toxic situation", and more leaving a situation where there was no more real advancement at the pace she deserved.  And that is though she had a truly good working relationship with Don.  Despite things said that day and other days of frustration where Don stepped out of line.

Apparently I was the only one who didn't like Nettles' duet with J Rome.  (I stopped watching after the first hour so missed the second one.). I thought the long notes just stood there and started to sound flat together, like their vibratos didn't match or something.  If one of them had done any kind of turn or flip

Interesting take.  I don't agree with the interpretation that she is so passionate about being an actress and that's the dream she's leaving behind.  (If she were that passionate, wouldn't she be constantly going to plays and talking about "the craft" - all that stuff those that someone who was single-mindedly driven

My theory:

"where Bass and Fatone’s ’N Sync bandmates Chris Fitzpatrick and Justin Timberlake…."
It's actually Chris KIRKpatrick.  Poor, charisma-less, Chris Kirkpatrick.

My oft-repeated favorite Lem line (After unveiling their face-recognition search engine for pictures online):
"We've finally defeated privacy!"

Oh grow up.

At the Ding-Dong house, we actually have a long running inside joke:  At the end of each SVU episode, the screen pops up, "Created by Dick Wolf".  And one of us says "Dick Wolf", and giggles.

Yes!!!  "Hooooooooo…..". Awesome callback.  Man I love this show.

Yes, though Dot Com was mentioned, as in "How black was he, from Lisa Bonet to Dot Com?"

Absolutely agree. I didn't even have time to add it to my tvclub list yet….

For a while I thought they might bring out pure evil to run against Leslie in the form of Tammy 1, who would use her brainwashing crazy to win…. I like Rudd so far though, and he can always hire cynical staff ala Bush/Rove

Calzones ARE stupid.  They're just a more difficult way to eat pizza.

Stuck up for Bev in the kitchen too, said Lindsay did show her how to cook.

It's been a long time, but wasn't Mimi Rodgers also in that show?  I thought I remembered a few moments where Scott Stapp didn't comprehend why he lost with a pair when someone else clearly had a straight, and maybe even another had a 3-of-a-kind.  Mimi Rodgers snapped at him and explained with a massive eye roll.  It
