It's The Office, not Heroes (circa whenever it was still good). I'd rather they spend their budget on jokes and awesome guests, not fancy pants CGI of a dump.

I'm glad so many of you disagreed with Rabin's reading of Michael's actions. It was actually one of the few Office situations that is really close to the crap I've seen sometimes here at my workplace. And you hope you have a boss like Michael who will tell them to STFU and treat everyone with respect.

Actually, if Ryan Seacrest is to be believed, it's like KEH-sha. Not KEE-sha (as would make sense) or Keh-ha (which would be really funny).

her influences?
I'm guessing Lady Gaga, minus the charisma and singing ability.

Hey Claire? It's "You can't Always Get What You Want" - not "Like". I wasn't sure if anyone has pointed that out to you yet.

I'm also a former smoker who occasionally gets the urge to smoke when watching old movies or Mad Men.

Oh, and also way off topic: This starts moving into the Net Neutrality debate, and provides additional ways for people to get their internet in the future, outside of the 1 or 2 choices we have now.

I actually think that Topeka thing is brilliant. Have you heard about this new Google high speed? It's RIDICULOUS fast. 100X faster (at least) than what any of us have now. Think about how much hi-def porn you could download in seconds!!!!

I agree with teadoust on the article and futurechimp's analysis.

That's stupid. I hate those horror plot twists where you die on a technicality. "Oh I said it was going to happen to someone you didn't KNOW, but not in the normal dictionary sense, but like the KNOW where you understand them at the deepest level. You may KNOW your husband in at least 6 of the 7 common definitions

Woah, I'm late to the conversation….
I came to these here comments to say how boring and lazy I find "Closing Time". Hearing it every single time the bars closed (and that was at a time when I was at the bars pretty much every night) - annoying. And I always assumed it was some marketing move to make a song all the

That's a stupid rule. Not your fault, I just wanted to point that out. Well, first I was going to tell you that you were wrong. Then wikipedia told me you weren't, though it's PRONOUNCED "Misters". Stupid grammar.

I was talking specifically talking about Crowe's performance (Confidential = great, Insider = mind blowing). Didn't mean to downgrade LA Confidential as a movie (though I haven't seen in a really long time so prob should watch again…)

You get partial credit, Shlub. It was the Insider he got snubbed for the year before. A fucking incredible movie, and that's mostly due to Crowe's ridiculously good performance.

I'd like to respond to the second comment….

Because gay is gross.

I love these posts that criticize a column called "The Hater" for being too hateful.

Oh for Pete's sake. It says GARAGE. Right there. At what part are you confused? Obviously you are an auto expert.
