Super meh. I liked the book quite a lot, and even defend the ending, and had looked forward to this. But as others have said, this feels like a chore so far. And if they're considering pitching the book altogether and extending this to a second season, as I've read, furrrrget it.

First, I'd like to say that Santa Monica Cop looks awful.
Second, that maybe one last season of our hero and heroine together making, as a team, might be a nice. We saw glimpses of it.
Third, I have appreciated Kali and the nanny in the body department.  Also Tubulowis' ass in a different way.
Fourth, I am surprised

Anyone buy the Archer book?  Thought it'd make for a good gift/bathroom reading.

Yeah, a C+/B- Archer seems fsir.  Forgivable but disappointing since I was looking forward to it all night.  Even the best shows have a throwaway episode or two in good seasons.

Meh.  Maybe the bar is raised so high, but this one didn't add up to what it should have, on paper.
