I'm also a "Community" fan and I agree with your point completely. Basically I just watch it for the jokes, references, and Troy and Abed. I don't understand why people care about any of the relationships on the show, which to me seem artificial and shoehorned-in.

true that earl has room to grow but he has already surpassed mf doom, who relies on the same flow too heavily despite good lines and fantastic taste in production. earl's first mixtape was the truth - straight up some of the best lyricism in at least a decade.
