I thought their follow-up single "Life Is Hard" scraped into the Top 100… Nope… #35 on the "Mainstream Rock" chart though
Could be worse… My HS Class of '87 had Bon Fucking Jovi's "Never Say Goodbye", which at the time I thought was pretty cool.
Yes, great indeed… Anyone else remember WoV singer Stan Ridgeway & Police drummer Stewart Copeland's "Don't Box Me In" from the film Rumblefish? Great song, that one.
I read that headline as 'People Are Still TOLERATING the Crap Out Of 'Game of Thrones'
Those songs you mentioned were pretty much the other "decent" ones I was referring to. Still think the 80's production hurts the album overall though.
'Momentary Lapse' has a very dated 80's sound, but some decent songs (was always partial to "One Slip")… and "Terminal Frost" may be a post-Waters atmospheric guitar noodle-fest, but a great one IMO.
70's Pink Floyd is generally pretty stellar (even the comparatively under-appreciated 'Obscured By Clouds' has some fine songs). Classic rock station playlist ubiquity and annoying fan enthusiasm don't make them a bad band.

Just scary.
When Dubya ran against Kerry, in the weeks leading up to the election there was a daily news report about "Terror Threat Level: Orange (or Yellow, or, um Midnight)" depending on the day because polls showed that public perception was that National Security was one area where Bush was rated stronger than Kerry……
Ahhh… Michael Scott's drink of choice: Scotch & Splenda!
The 'Gentleman Jack Daniels' is actually not bad at all.
Offerman's beloved Lagavulin tastes more like liquid shoe leather than liquid campfire to me, but to each their own.

Awright … Once more from the top …
Excuse me, Mr. Producer. Me and the boys were wondering how we should approach the second verse of "Demon Drooler of the Sewer … " Bill suggested a gentle vibrato to heighten melodic tension … But I felt a quick dip to G minor at the downbeat would better blend the vocal harmonies.…
