Quite.

I dunno.  A triple-bladed sword that SHOOTS ITS BLADES is pretty freakin cheesy.  And even if it didn't shoot, it would be hell to sharpen that inner blade without losing fingers.  (I'll have to revisit it on Netflix if possible, though.)

I see what you did there, but I'll bite anyway…  After, since Dragon's Lair came out two years later.

Nothing like a little scatology in the middle of a eulogy to make everyone feel more shitty.

HBO?!? I saw it in the theater, gods damn it!  At the "rich" mall in West Des Moines where even the moms were hot and there was a kick-ass arcade across from the theater.  For a D&D nerd in the early 80s, this movie was FUCKING AWESOME!

Christ, that article you linked to reads like The Onion's Jackie Harvey. The grinning idiot even looks kinda like him.

Not sure I'd bother seeing this in the theater, but it might be worth a rainy Sunday afternoon viewing at the digital media trough.

Seriously?!? Ghostbusters TWO was completely unnecessary as it is. Why can't we just let a good movie stand on its own without trying to make lightning strike twice—let alone three or more times?  Oh yeah, that sweet, sweet box office take…  Feh.

Wait, wait.  I though Tom Hagen shows up at the hospital where Michael is recovering from a heart attack or some shit.  *goes to check IMDb*

Huhn. Well, whaddya know. Interesting bit on Wikipedia about how Hagen was going to be the main antagonist in GIII but the script was rewritten when Duvall demanded more money.
