She was a Shintoist, I believe (who doesn't come round 'ere shattering sheetglass in the shithouse). That's a guess based on the shrine and ridiculous religious beliefs—oh wait, that's redundant.

I think the popcorn diet was one of the standard early diagnoses that turns out to be wrong. Later, House comes in all wet and I never caught what the final diagnosis was.
Never hunted them, but I thought they were solitary and territorial—at least the non-mating toms.
And that's how I hope it happens—not waiting to slowly die from cancer or plunging from the sky in a stalled jetliner or some shit.
book freaked me out
I refuse to see this because the book freaked me out. I have a nine-year-old daughter and the whole thing was so depressing. Also read it around the same time as World Made By Hand (post-economic collapse of the USA), Cod (destruction of world's fisheries), The World Without Us (how much humans…
@karatloz: You could have said that regardless of what they put at the top. And I think I'd have to go with the rest of the Elephant crowd here, but I've really liked almost all of their stuff—great blues-oriented rock. Of course, I am O-L-D because I only own two CDs off this list (#1, #5) and "borrowed" another…

I recall Pete complaining that they received two of them as wedding gifts…
But Campbell's gun *has* gone off. Right between Peggy's thighs! Boom!
@lexicndevil: Me as well. They could still do it. Wouldn't be the first time they played fast-and-loose with exact histories.
and Rifts, right?
I'll take the bait… "Look at these!"
"In one essay, he credited the Turtles with the rise of gangs."
"In past weeks, all he's done is tell everyone SC lost another account and bitch about office supplies."
"Knifehits"? Heh. We called em "hotknives."
Christ, the "for shame" was a bit tongue-in-cheek! Now, who wants a beer? I got Sierra Nevada Torpedo and some Big Sky IPA! (And I can't believe I got a Firstie. I kept reloading the page but nothing came up so I figured the site was jacked up.)
Henry Gibson?
So, since he got his own treatment earlier this week, we don't even get a weak recap of Henry Gibson's career or link to the previous article?!? For shame!
