wha-sa ?

seriously??

Love?

Lucy that's some 'splainin' you've done.

Like most Academy format B&W films it benefits a lot, in terms of atmosphere and immediacy, from being seen projected in a theater. That's also how I saw The Big Sleep, still one of my top three film favorites.

Saw Possession in a theater recently. Dark Middle-European esthetics ambiguously played out in a dull, contemporary milieu. The slow development of the more fantastic moments… You may not like it.

That's why it's a dying industry.

Holy moly! Sarandon's finest hour!

who is?

And they weren't too bad in Blow Up either.

Ron Eldard?

Surely some are worthy of your ire?

plus wallpaper…

Stand off…

I liked Gaspar Noé's much better.

Black Mass was shit. An Australian and a quasi-human with a plastic attachment on his head talking about "loyalty" and "the neighborhood". From what planet?

Hey everybody, new target!

Neither do the chumps churning this stuff out, prolly.
