Holy shit.

My biggest takeaway is that smart people should stop trying to get out of jury duty.

Ah, lack of closure!

Thanks for reminding me about Adnan being weird at the house, I'd forgotten about that.
There are definitely other things about the case that make me think Adnan is guilty, I just don't know if I buy the motive.

So I'm sorry if this was mentioned in The Serial Serial, I haven't listened to it, but there's one big thing that's bothering me about the motive that I hadn't heard anyone else mention. It seems weird for Adnan to have killed Hae as part of some sort of crime of passion when they by all accounts (including Hae's

I started to watch The Shield, when it first came out on Hulu. I was slagging on it just a little bit (it's a really heavy show to have on during work, even if it's mostly background noise) and then one of the actors was arrested for killing his wife and I haven't come back to it. Maybe I'll just read everything on

Fuck depression, but hooray you taking the steps to take care of yourself.
As someone who struggled with their own issues, I'm pulling for you. I also hope that you can be kind to and patient with yourself (easier said than done, I know).
Best of luck.

It's where Wiig and Armisen are a musical act who haven't actually written anything, and so they improv their songs/lyrics (which is mostly Armisen singing and Wiig trying to guess what he's going to say while both of them try to stop from laughing). I fast forwarded through the whole thing. I never liked it.

I loved when he did the little kid, grabby-hands "Award, Please!" thing. It was such a little joke but it killed me every time he used it.

Oh god, the tribute to his mom. That was so beautiful.

I know he has his show on GSN (or is it TV Guide?). I hope he'll write more books.

There would be an uproar, but probably not a huge information hack on citizens and death threats on the movie theaters.

AVClub cookie exchange?

I make a tray of cookies for my coworkers as part of their Christmas gift, and I have one more batch to do. One year, I'll be more organized and will plan out how many sticks of butter/cartons of eggs I need to buy so I don't have to keep running out, but not this year!
They're getting Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich

That took me a full season, and just when I was recovering from that at the end of season 2, I realized Luke was in Smash.

I fondly remember that the shower scene happened the same night as half of my female facebook friends were watching the Victoria's Secret fashion show and feeling bad about their bodies.

I was so surprised to see this and had just assumed I hadn't heard the news of this show's cancellation. It's so nice to see a funny, sweet show showcasing female friendship.

Kristen Johnston was on RuPaul's podcast this week and said that every single day she's mistaken for Kirstie Alley.

I'm really confused about her as well, because in this past episode, I believe they said she was highly sought after, but I remembered them saying that she was under investigation or something like that. My terrible memory isn't helping, but this podcast generally leaves me confused.

On another Serial note, this was on my Facebook feed yesterday. It's actually a totally straightforward mash-up and it's pretty awesome. http://www.funnyordie.com/a…
