I gave up a little more than halfway through book one. There are just too many characters for me to keep up with without having the visual aid.

I wish I had the nerve to post this on facebook. Especially those last two sentences. To make matters even more annoying, the person on my facebook feed throwing the conniption over the differences between the book and the show is someone who only started reading the books after the show started.

When you look at that show as a whole, it's really fucking troubling.

But she had a lot of time in between Grey's and Private Practice. No show can sustain the momentum Grey's had in the beginning in year 9. Private Practice was pretty good in the beginning as well. Off the Map was never that great, but she was just EP'ing it, not showrunning.

I do/have watched all of Shonda's shows, and this one has such a different tone than her others. While Grey's/Private Practice can get dramatic, this show can get DARK, which I absolutely love.
Considering that Shonda is probably the #1 showrunner for gender, race and sexuality diversity, I'm happy that her shows can

@avclub-b5834482cffa804ec757616dd7faf620:disqus I agree, but I have a feeling CC knew how … unreliable he was. Also, I think they were much more reserved about giving shows to stand ups they way they are now.

I hope you survive and enjoy the show! I haven't heard his new material, but I definitely hope it doesn't disappoint.

I think this show has a high chance of renewal, but unfortunately Nathan for You has like, 1/8 of the Jeselnik Offensive's audience. Comedy Central isn't known for giving shows that are lower rated, but they still believe in, multiple seasons to help it build an audience.

Yes, John Mulaney was awesome that episode.

I think they've done such a great job of pairing the panelists. Although my least favorite was Amy Schumer and Aziz Ansari — for understandable reasons, I think Aziz was a bit too reserved for what the show needs.

Has Comedy Central announced a 2nd season of this show yet? I have no idea why they wouldn't, I think the show is the 2nd highest rated on the network (after Tosh.0, depressingly). As long as he can keep up the roster of comedians for the panel, I'll keep watching.
I was a bit meh on Anthony after the roasts, but then

If that's how she actually is in real life, and not just how she's playing/being edited, then yeah, I think it could be a bit tiring.

In terms of their speaking voices, I find Alaska's to be grating. Something something, different strokes, something something.

Not only do I want Jinkx to win, but I want to be best friends with her. I'd be okay with an Alaska win, but I just don't feel as strongly about her as I did Sharon last year. Sharon started and stayed really strong last season, and I think Alaska was a bit middle of the road coming out of the gate. She's definitely

I think they would have left it as a cliffhanger, anticipating that they would have gotten a 3rd season pickup.
While in the real world it would be logical to submit Karen for Supporting Actress, the conversation between Derrick and Scott at the after party (Let the Tony voters decide) puts them both at lead actress.

I'd put serious money on this as the season/series finale:

It's on Hulu.

What a great week for TV! I love how consitently good this show has become. It's completely renewed my faith in Shonda (which needed some renewing after Private Practice got insane and after the missed opportunity that was Off the Map).

I wonder how many times they needed to film that scene, because Lamorne Morris looked like he was having a hard time not laughing.

Fucking fuck this shit.
