Retta (Donna on P&R). Her Comedy Central special from years ago always made me laugh.

Happy Endings, Muppet Babies style? I'm in.
As much as I loved that, it was him singing "Popular" that moved it from a B+ to an A- for me.
Another Halleloo over here. Dan Savage (one of my personal idols) mentioned his son DJ responding to a bully who said that he was going to be gay because he has two dads. DJ pointed out that both of his dads were raised by hetero parents, so the bully had a better chance of being gay than he did.
@avclub-9ab851511acc02c9c665a39d00b96e30:disqus wouldn't it be great if they brought Kenya back, the queens asked her about the letter, and she had no freaking clue what they were talking about, leaving Phi Phi to try and claw her way out of that hole?
Went to see "Jeff Who Lives at Home," which I enjoyed. Wasn't completely sure what I was getting into, other than Ed Helms and Jason Segal are in it, and I'll watch them in almost anything. I guess I thought it would be funnier than it was, but I still liked it.
I also decided to bite the bullet and watch GCB. Which…
The Wire and Six Feet Under have two of the best series finales ever broadcast on television.
I can't think of anyone else appropriate from ABC except maybe Tom Bergeron, who's a good host but not the right fit for the Emmys, so Kimmel will do. I think he's a bit ballsier than other hosts would be, and will be more likely to push buttons than Jane Lynch was last year. Also, considering he can get Matt Damon to…
I thought NPH was extremely open and straightforward, and super funny. It was a long podcast, but I loved it.
I also just finished listening to the Key & Peele episode, which was just released today, and LOVED that one as well. I thought it was a really good week for Nerdist.
I think the "choice" is to raise the baby yourself or give the baby up for adoption.
Okay, you can not like Boardwalk Empire without thinking it's crappy. Come on.
holy shit.
I heard it first from my football playing brother a few years ago, and then saw it on a T-shirt in Harlem. I'm not sure why it's making a pop culture resurgence now, though.
What sucks the most about what sounds like an already awful film, is that somewhere in one of the few places this movie will play, a very impressionable, Christian young man will watch this movie, completely firm up his opinions about abortion, and then go into politics, where he will spend his career doing his…
Having thoroughly enjoyed following @happywrites:twitter as they went through the Standards & Practices notes, it's even more amahzing to see all the things they got away with. "Buzzing one out" joins "did you puck?" and "So I can put my c…ar in your a…tttic" as amazing lines that got past some old people.
yes! and amazingly timed, since I think last week there were complaints about inconsistencies with old/young Burginia in the spanking flashbacks.
With the exception of Flight of the Concords, which is the biggest apples and oranges comedy comparison, not really; at least no where near Key & Peele's level.
My favorite part of this show has always been the brilliant and sometimes very subtle physical comedy. This episode it was the way that Jordan started his song, by counting it off and dancing to a beat that only he could hear.
This was my favorite episode since the pilot, and I'm really looking forward to September.
Not to mention the amazing physical comedy they do as well.
Someone on the Facebook page suggested it was something on the diet pills/laxative vein. Considering her final comments included her 28" waist, I'm kind of inclined to believe that, although I don't see diet pills as being a no-no with this show like it would be with a modeling show like ANTM.
