I agree. Kubrick mostly took bad to mediocre novels and made them into great films. That's the way it should be done.
THIS SHOW SUCKS BUT ONE DAY IT MIGHT NOT STAY TUNED
This dickhead gave a negative review to A Clockwork Orange, forever cementing his place in the pantheon of dipshit film critics, like Kael, who are too lame to appreciate Kubrick.
Have you been paying attention? The media, including the AV Club, is made up of white people that love to pretend that they give a shit about "social justice". What you're experiencing is a bout of common sense.
Coming to SyFy Saturdays at 11:30.
Seems to me like its trying to be sold as a mainstream thriller, which is why it might come across as hokey. I suspect there's a good movie in there.

So what's it like in your little pocket of the world?
No, because everyone around me is!
Are you saying that "fat acceptance" is something we should work towards attaining?
Keith Olbermann: Too Irrelevant to Fail
Nice interview. Ricci is an interesting piece of strange.
Yeah, TOS remasters are a legitimate improvement.
Mostly just some extra dialogue and a few scenes that establish one of the cadets as Scotty's son, if I remember correctly.
That's true, it is missing those extra 4 minutes, but I don't think they're essential to the film.
