Dark doctor
I haven't seen any Sixth Doctor serials yet, but I've always thought that making Doctor an antihero would be a fantastic idea. I would like to see a Doctor who is a cold-blooded pragmatic who doesn't really give a damn about people and is mostly motivated by his sense of duty and hatred for his enemies.

What's the name of the girl on the main photo of the article, the one who's the furthest on the right? She's super cute.

Can someone recommend me more shows like this one?
I love TV shows that are outrageous, imaginative and energetic and "Misfits" has all of those qualities. I realized that I like good, serious shows like The Wire or Deadwood, but the ones that I enjoy the most are the ones that are pretty silly. I like stuff like

Korean historical dramas are pretty awesome from what I saw. They produce a lot of them, so there's definitely a lot of boring stuff there, but the acting and production values are almost always good (there are even actual big battles!). Also, I don't know anything about korean history, so I'm not spoiled about

Well, I suppose it depends on which show are we talking about and how much you like twists. Personally, I love shows that have good acting, production values, strong themes, et cetera, but there is nothing that I love more than a visceral shock that I experience when something totally unexpected happens. Yeah, I know

My opinion
This whole "spoilers can''t ruin enjoyment of a really good story" thing is something that only critics and jaded viewers believe in. I don't want to analyze TV shows when I watch them for the first time, I want to have an emotional ride. When I'm heavily spoiled for the thing I watch, I quickly lose

Gateway to geekery?
Actually, I can easily imagine that beach movies can be more like "gateway OUT of geekery" for some people. Watching two hours of attractive people having fun on a beach must be pretty painful for a lot of geeks, so maybe after watching some of those movies some geek have thought "ah, fuck it, I

I never saw the show, but I just wanted to say that those ads showing this clown-doctor are the creepiest things I saw this week. They make me think that this show is horror or maybe horror-comedy, like Von Trier's The Kingdom.

My problem with DS9 (at least with what I saw of it) it that it's really wildly schizophrenic show. In one episode they're deadly serious, in another they're making embarassing attempts at comedy (gee, I really hate Ferengi). One episode is really moving story forward, another one is totally random. If the show didn't

Well, as I've said, I still haven't watched much of TNG. As a geek, I'm deeply ashamed because of it.

The law of sci-fi shows
One thing I noticed about sci-fi shows is that if show features both humans and aliens, aliens are the only truly interesting characters. I admit I never watched TNG, but it's true for TOS (ok, Kirk and Bones are iconic characters, but Spock is the only one who has shown any depth), DS9 and
