In spite of the violent uprising against any film that has indie-music in the soundtrack and even a hint of "quirk", can anyone seriously doubt that this is one of the better movies to be released this year?

After watching Generation Kill, in which the characters were real and acted like real people even when you didn't want them to, Hurt Locker doesn't match up at all. It's just an excuse to do some flag waving. Fuck this film.

They took a shitty idea that wasn't that funny in Shortbus and made it even less funny. Great job!

There's no way the Academy is nominating Adventureland for Best Picture, even in an expanded list, but it should get at least get Best Original Screenplay nom.
