I'm pretty much a recluse too and I did the same thing last year. I overcame it somewhat by playing futsal with work colleagues and going along to a monthly film night and staying for drinks afterwards.

I dunno. If "just stop trying" comes with the corollary "do lots of social stuff with different people" then it's not terrible advice.
Hmmm, well part of the reason I quit playing Dead Space was because it was too stressful* but so far Alien seems to rely more on unnerving atmosphere and sounds than jump scares whereas Dead Space was just one ooga-booga after another.
Did you write "(the first few hours of) Alien: Isolation" because it all went downhill from there or because you only just started it? I ask because I've just played the first few hours and I'm liking it a lot so far.
(The outrage was because they created four assassins for co-op and they're all dudes.)
Re:the spoilerific bit:
Nope, it should be able to import both Hawk and the Warden. There was some trouble with that relating to the change from Bioware accounts to Origin accounts but that was supposed to be fixed. I guess it's still an issue. (btw it doesn't actually matter at all as to whether it does or doesn't…
Apparently there were a lot of bugs creeping into the save game data (eg the one regarding whether Zevran was dead or alive) and this was the best solution.
Ah hahahahahahaha.
Are you comparing Nas' rap to legitimised crap?
Hey if you're going to be on the internet commenting about Star Wars trailers you may as well go all in.
Except the problem with that crossguard is that the beam projectors are part of it and any enemy's lightsabre would probably just cut straight through it. The alternative, having the beam projectors separate from the crossguard, seems like it could be an accident waiting to happen should your hands slid up the hilt.…
It might be worth waiting for the first major patch as well as the price drop. It's not bug infested or anything but there are still a few annoying glitches.
I played KOTOR 2 on PC in 2013 with the restored content mod installed and it is better than KOTOR in nearly every single way.
Tac cam is hardly impossible to use and one of its chief joys is not having to hold r or lmb to attack foes. It can be annoying when you're indoors or in a heavily forest area but I've been using it for every single fight without major hastles.
My theory is that click to move to loot was removed in order to better facilitate the shard collection jumping "puzzles".
On the plus side the first patch will probably be out by then and you'll avoid some of the nastier/weirder glitches.
I've been up laaate playing this and I just need to say: When you're in Val Royeaux be sure to go to the store at the top level of the market place. You'll know it by its ware.
Zevran is sooo much better than Alistair. Bioware was just saving you from yourself.
Most enemies seem to and there's a mountain of quests and enemies in any case. If you love level grinding I think you'll be able to scratch that itch with DAI.
Also butts.
