I'm not too fussed but I hope it gets some kind of explanation - even a very hand wavy one - in DA:I.

But Leliana swings both ways?

I've been playing a female dwarf rogue just because I can finally play a woman character who has stubble. There's been some good reactivity. There was a moment early on in the game in which Varric commented in some party banter on my character's "slyness" (dwarves are all ex-carta) and I got the opportunity to respond.

She's great but her "You were one of the good Carta, right?" reaction to my hard-bitten femdwarf made me reconsider.

Except that if you've killed her you've despoiled the ashes and taken the only undespoiled bits with you.

Let me know if you find out. I disabled the overlay but I still get the sound.

It's at its most annoying when half your party is in a building and half is outside. Unlike DA:O's camera the roof doesn't vanish so you have to constantly change camera angles when switching between party members. Also I have no idea why it automatically snaps to party members whenever you select them - that should

I'm playing on hard, I'm about 11 hours in and I've had about three wipes. All but one of those have come from tackling stuff that was several levels above me.

I played 30 hours of that and then put it aside. Normally I have to finish RPGs but that thing just started feeling way too much like work.

I love how NWN2 has a boring white second banana voiced by Sbarge who is promptly left behind and ignored for most of the story.

Well I've done about 11 hours and the only main story thing I've done is rescue the Revered Mother from the Hinterlands so yes, it is entirely possible. But you might have to be the kind of person who spends a couple of hours in chargen and then compulsively completes sidequests.

I'd agree with this. Although I might be a little more generous and suggest it sounds like he's deeply confused about what he wants and clueless or insensitive about how his flip-flopping is screwing with the people around him.

I'm just wondering what people who are in long-term relationships felt when they first met their significant other.

I think Robert and Enkidum sort of covered it but I want to reiterate that there is nothing about bisexuality that precludes monogamous relationships or that makes someone more likely to be less faithful.

I guess if you're really into something you need to hear someone lay out the risks and firmly say no before you consider giving it up

Awakenings, the expansion for DA:O, is pretty long and as close to essential as expansions can be. It's about 20 hours iirc.

You're missing the joke.

I think there's a reasonable chance of that happening. The first game has been selling pretty well on steam and the second game, despite having been built for a different platform, uses the same engine as the first so I guess the porting team wouldn't have a whole new set of problems to solve.

If the steam best sellers list is any indication it's certainly popular enough for them to do something more with the series on PC. It's dropped off a bit now but it was outselling Asscreed Unity for a few days.

I really like the shock troopers as well. I sort of fell into them by accident. I heard about upgraded scouts being OP so I dropped a lot of points in the troopers to avoid the temptation. I fell in love with them when I started using Jane; she's so adorably murderous.
