I agree, this was probably the best of the season for me. Everything was hilarious and sweet and just made me happy. Also, Anne's "Nell"-like attempts to flirt were like looking into a mirror- a much much much more attractive mirror.

Please. The Shield was so overrated. Instead of wasting your time with it, check out THE SHIELD.

Grieving family
Man, this show really delves into the Larsen family's grieving process. Shit's so depressing- I love it! I could watch an entire series that was just their scenes

I knew this was gonna be an "A" episode
as soon as I saw the names of the 1st two guest stars- Stephen Root & Gere Burns.

Wow, did not see that coming
Apparently I'm dense, because the whole twist about Kalinda's past with Peter was a total shock to me. When Blake was talking about how Kalinda's "tell" is Alicia, I thought he was insinuating that Kalinda was in love with her (I know she's bi, but I keep thinking of her as a lesbian). I

P&R >>> The Office for the past 1.5 years. That's not opinion, it's FACT.

Seriously. I've seen two of the more recent adaptations: the 2006 BBC miniseries (good) and the 1990's movie with William Hurt was Rochester (not so good). This one looks pretty crappy. The book isn't easily translated to the screen, so I don't understand why they keep trying to do so.

Besides the SUPERBOWL SHUFFLE…
One more vote for Dire Straits' Walk of Life.

Two beavers are better than one
Just like two good episodes are better than one! This one and last week's museum one were two of the best since, like, season 3. Well done, past-its-prime sitcom!

Hey, I just finished the series too! I found these recaps tremendously enjoyable and helpful. I never watched TV from 2001-2007 (grad school) so I'm only now catching up on all these great shows. (Still haven't seen The Sopranos or The Wire.) Deadwood has now supplanted Breaking Bad as the best show I've ever seen.

Sunday supper with the Bennett family
I would watch an entire series that was just this.

Hot Women
I mainly watch this show for the hot women. Lauren Graham is the standard against which all other TV women are judged. My God the woman is perfect- and seems to age in reverse (without any obvious work done). And Julia in that red dress? HEY-O! Angry hurt Jasmine? Yes. Tearful obsessive Kristina? Yes, if

Death To The Procedural
The case of the week has always been the weakest link of this show. The serialized storylines are much more interesting, plus the "ripped-from-the-headlines" aspect of many of the cases feels like a lesser show's game. And why do they always have to be wrapped up by the end of the hour? I would

Hmmm
Never seen this show, but it's gotta be better than that one with the twins who live in a hotel, or on a boat, or something. That one's God-awful.

False Information
Aside from all the hilariousness, I loved the scene during the TV interview where people called in with either completely wrong info (they're going to raise taxes to pay for Harvest Fest) or wrongly interpreted the correct info (Ben went to the towns and bankrupted them). People do this in real life

I had to rewind the TV because I was laughing so hard at that letter.

DP DOUGH!!! We had one in Ithaca, NY too! The names of all their calzones were puns, which I enjoyed immensely. One time I was eating a DANGER ZONE, which was Hamburger, Cheddar Cheese, Onions, Mexican Seasoning, & Hot Sauce enveloped in warm, pillow-y dough, and it smelled so good that a chipmunk came into my dorm

DUDE
Garrett Dillahunt is married on this show to Martha Plimpton, whose dad is Keith Carradine, who played Wild Bill Hickock in Deadwood, where he was shot by…GARRETT DILLAHUNT. I JUST BLEW MY OWN MIND.

Haha yes, I still remember Officer Dave's brilliant cop-talking head at the end of Stakeout- not coincidentally, the episode that got me hooked on this show. Louis CK did such a good job in that role.

Megan Mullally slapping herself with beef jerky
might be the dirtiest thing I've ever seen on prime-time network TV. Awesome episode.
