C- might be a bit harsh. More like a B to me. But I'm not really expecting the sharpest social commentary or whatever from this show anymore, so as long as an episode can make me laugh frequently, I'll like it.

Compare the tension of, say, any random 5 seconds out of Breaking Bad, to the "tension" of, for example, that scene with Saxon breaking into Dexter's house, complete with a soundtrack fit for the silent era.
