To me, this might have been the best episode of the season. Shocked it got such a low grade.
I think everyone that watches this could actually envision Shawn & Gus having such a misadventure with the body. It was 1 of the best scenes they have had in a long time.
The rest of the episode I thought was strong too.

I believe Dexter gave it to her.
When he handed her the bag, he said there was drinks, food & essentials or something like that & she gave him a look like "ohhh, those type of essentials".
Still weak writing, but that was how I interpreted that turn of luck.

While I was disappointed in the finale (and the final season) I found it less disappointing than Joshua did.
