Anthony Hopkins at Hitch doesn't bother me, but the portrayal of his wife Alma (based on the trailer) is troublesome.  Are we being handed another version of the old story of the brilliant genius being discouraged by his wife, which was so richly mocked in "Walk Hard?"

With all the overlapping dialogue in this episode I was halfway expecting a "Dedicated to Robert Altman" tag at the end…

Yeah I just don't see the two together and it feels forced.  And what's really sad, is they seem really committed to us WANTING them to be together, and in order to do so, they've reduced a pretty good character who made a brave stand in last season's finale, into rank tool.

Any legal eagles out there able to attest to the verisimilitude of the meeting with the partners scene?  I mean I'm not juris doctor, but it sure seems to me that if someone missed a deadline that cost the firm a seven figures, and opened up them up to legal liability for a malpractice claim from a very pissed off…
