Although I was disappointed with it at the time, as a one-off collaboration between SP/Ministry, Rabies is pretty decent. It's just not very representative of SP's work in general. I wish they had released it under a different name — kind of like an industrial Temple of the Dog.

Agreed, I'd argue that CFM is probably their most accessible album — certainly moreso than VivisectVI and TDP.

Glad someone else loved that sample too — an amazing sci-fi soundtrack to a not-so-amazing movie.  Electric Lady is pretty phenomenal!

The Electrician never ceases to blow my mind — I get goose bumps everytime the chorus/strings kick in.  It's right up there with Can's Future Days and Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden for records insanely ahead of their time.

If they presented everything as it is in the books, it would border on torture porn — especially some of the events in the Danaerys story line.

If I recall, in the books the "eye of Sauron" was not a literal eyeball like it was presented in the movies.

AFFC and Dance fare much, much better on a second reading.  AFFC in particular benfits from a second read where you can better appreciate its focus on all the shit that rolls downhill after the events of SofS.

So your model is based on the assumption that a bank will lend money based on an escrow account in which the funds can be refunded any time between the order being made and the release of the album.  No offense, but I don't think you understand how bank financing works.  At a minimum, the bank will want the escrow

Another former industrial head who had the good fortune to live in Chicago during the late 80's early 90s.

He's incredibly versatile.  Never understood how Peter Hook gets so much love as a bassist, when Gallup does better lead/melodic bass than Hook plus so much more.  My personal favorite is the huge bass riff in "Screw."

It was actually the "Prayer Tour" but yeah they were in peak form.

Having grown up with the Cure as an 80s teen can't really disagree too much with that list.  I would like voice some support for The Top which tends to be overlooked and very underrated.

Buzz also assumed that he was being complimented when someone said of his fashion choices "you look like you don't give a fuck."

Almost there. Just need to swap 1 and 2, and switch 3 and 4.  Done.

Gore has penned some dubious lyrics in his day but Halo has one of his best lines:

One of my favorites too!  Incredibly prescient lyrics:  "put your life into a bubble, put it on a show on cable, you can really show it all there, turn it on when you are able"

That guy should form a tamborine/dance supergroup with Jerome from the Time and Bez from the Happy Mondays.

Anton comes off as a musical genius?  My version of Dig! must have the wrong soundtrack.

Stop, my penis can only get so erect.

I was not prepared for how bad it was.  How gloriously, amazingly, stunningly bad.
