You're in for a treat. Just saw them in Atl last week and they rocked. Getting to see Nick Lowe open was pretty great as well.
I actually think "AOA" is the best of their Krautrock-motorik sounding tracks. I do agree, however, that AOA throws down a gauntlet that the rest of the album essentially ignores.

I think the temperature problems were primarily caused by Tiffany's ill- conceived concept of putting ceviche in the chowder. Even McDonald's knows that you keep the hot side hot and the cold side cold.
Yup, I've seen him bring the house down like that at several shows. He ended one show with a version of You Must Ask the Heart that had the entire crowd crying in their beers. It takes a special kind of iron clad asshole not to love Richman.
The crazier Angelo got during Season 7 the more I liked him. While that season kind of sucked, Angelo seems to have some legit skills.
I've watched the Closer on and off through its entire run and while not spectacular, it has its charms. I also find that the Closer is much better when its quirks and comedic underpinnings take the forefront. The darker and more serious episodes frankly highlight the weaknesses of the Closer.
