HDTGM has a special place for me because it's one of the first podcasts I started listening to. I just started listening to the Flophouse about a month ago. I've been going through their back catalog (I finally learned the origin of the Flophouse House Cat!) and those guys are really, really funny.

Those second opinions were so nutty I wish there were more of them. I kind of wish this podcast was longer anyway.

It sounded like he annoyed June really early on in this episode.

I thought it was pretty funny how he quit caring at this point. I'm sure he'll be back to his regular draconian, rule-enforcing self on Monday though.

I never heard of her before this episode, but I thought the Tracy character was really funny. I cracked up the way she pronounce 'scholarship'.

Any idea who the character he's playing is? I would say one of the goons from the Timothy Cavendish Ordeal, but I think they were Irish, and he sounds like he's doing Cockney. I don't remember a lot of swearing in the book, unless it's something they added in for the movie.

This video reminds me of one time I was listening to talk radio four summers ago, when gas prices were astronomical. One of the speakers on the show was complaining about how expensive it was to fill up, and his solution to the problem was to just "invent a car that runs on water."

I like the comment section because I don't know anyone in real life that listens to podcasts, and it's so hard to repeat the funny stories to people with no background of a show.  "Okay, so there's this comedian, Paul F Tompkins, who's really funny, and he's pretending to be this character, which is what they do on

On the old Flophouse episodes they would talk about some kind of website that was a podcast hub or something. I can't remember what it was called, or if it's even still around (since they don't mention it anymore)  but I always thought that would be a useful site, if it had a lot of user feedback. I guess there's
