And I think it was an important parallel in the show that, right after Tarrlok chooses the path of suicide, we immediately switch to Korra dealing with the almost exact same problem: die, and end what you think is a hopeless situation that just leads to more problems and death, or choose the option to live and try

I'd personally much rather see Pabu, Naga, Appa, and Momo go a couple of rounds of volleyball, myself.

@avclub-0fe01c8a5bcc308ca6bca874fd4caaab:disqus  if he was being sarcastic then I'm sorry for think he was serious, and even if he didn't we still have one person who didn't find the episode especially useful.

I do agree with you to an extent. I think that, if they had tried to condense A:TLA into Korra's form it would have been a complete disaster, and that speaks to Korra's ability to do what it's doing in a short amount of space, but I do , however, think that it could benefit from another 12 episodes. I just

And you basically said everything I've tried to tell people over the last two days about Mako and this episode in general. I've also watched the episodes a couple times in a row now, and it really does improve how I see it overall. It's just when you're waiting a whole week for the next episode you come up with all of

Asami and Mako will face this problem next episode, probably end their relationship (I'm hoping

@The_Tuna:disqus Well airbending movements and fire bending do have some of the the same base fluidity to them because fire and air have, again, some of the same basic kind of freeness and wildness to their element, so I think an argument could really be made for both. And I think he was really fluid during this last

I agree with both of you guys on this point. I think we can both see that Mako's clearly not trying to be douchey because we're actually analyzing the episode and connecting everything throughout the series and building his character the way the directors meant it to be built. But the problem is, with the pacing, we

This is at ly_yng (I don't know how to do the specific tagging on here, sadly)  and I agree with you and if anything I think Asami handled it with a lot of grace. Sure, we saw all of those sad/upset looks she made, but she didn't make a big deal of it, didn't cause any drama about it while they were searching

There's no way. Amon moves more like an airbender than a fire bender, and Zuko is a very old man now, so there's no way in hell that he'd be able to move like Amon did. And some people are talking about Bumi being an example for being agile, but I think he was an anomaly in this case, and if Zuko is anything like
