I actually had a pretty good time with this sort of thing on my WiiU last week. I was watching Justified on Amazon Prime and when I finished an episode, I'd bring up the AV Club, read the article on that episode, close the browser and go back to the next episode. If it had a better battery life, it'd be perfect.
