That you, Nice Pete?
Your Funeral My Trial cannot be topped but anything pre-Murder Ballads is pretty goddam awesome.
Now discuss the correllation between Mick Harvey and Blixa slowly disappearing while Warren Ellis becomes Cave's new BFF, and the increasing weakness of subsequent albums (minus Grinderman).
Next you'll tell me that Pawn Stars is completely rigged and they just pull people in off the street and hand them valuable things and tell them to play along!

I think the reason that it's in Theron's quarters is because they made a big point about it being a gigantic escape pod that could survive a catastrophe indefinitely, so it sorta makes sense that the auto-doctor was there in the long-term. What didn't make sense is why Weyland wasn't hiding out in that room as opposed…

Have you listened to this one? I'll admit there are a few throwaway tracks, but the majority are pretty solid and the UNKLE and Zinnerman ones are outstanding.
The Room is pretty good, give it a chance if you haven't. It's got a solid story, some really neat visuals, and a cool mechanic with the apartment. It's just a shame about the forced repetition and the ultra-annoying ghosts.
Probably a doghouse, though I'm not sure since there's no dog around.
Definitely the best SH in recent times. Great atmosphere, story, voice acting… A really high quality game overall and great example of a western developer really nailing a Silent Hill game.
Wow, nice response. I really appreciate you taking the time to post this.

Interesting note: Al Lowe designed the black cauldron game before he did the Leisure Suit Larry games but significantly after he published Soft Porn Adventure for the Apple II which, if I can remember, actually used a sorta topless Roberta Williams for one of the topless models in the jacuzzi on the cover!
Infernal Machine is a shitty Tomb Raider rip-off IIRC and I cannot recommend purchasing it, even for 3 bucks unless you're some sort of die-hard Indiana Jones fan. Even if you are you're better off replaying Fat of Atlantis or (god forbid) the unforgiving Last Crusade.
Favourite Gabriel Knight 1 moment: shouting HOLY SHIT at the screen after the part in the weird bog-mummy filled temple where your uncle does you a solid by cutting out his own heart. Goddam that was gory. ALSO: Mark Hamill as your cop-buddy and Lt. Worf as the Baron Samedi lookin dude
I didn't think the dialogue in Gemini Rue was that awful, mostly I think because the voice acting and sound design is really really good for an independent game. The part that bugged me was the arcade shoot-out sequences and the lack of more areas to explore in the city. Aside from that I think Gemini is one of the…
