Detailed = Roughly sketched and disposed of just as quickly.

I've made mine up.  Dex gets captured next season after some cat and mouse shenanegans.  S8 has him solving crimes with Deb a la Silence of the Lambs.  If the show continues more than 2 seasons pull a Prison Break or go into OZ territory.

Colin's just fine in straight man comedic roles.

I thought the same thing.  He knew DDK would have a weapon and be holding the kid, why would he rely on just his wits?  Is Dex really Batman and hates guns?

I honestly think he's constipated when he puts on the scowly face.

My pet theory is that MCH is encouraging this plot development, he's like an executive producer and has some influence, doesn't he?

Could have milked it for tension at the very least.  Deb overhearing the ritual and sneaking in gun in hand not knowing it was Dex all along… CUE CLIFFHANGER.

It's likely they knew they were getting renewed later in production, but probably not at the initial outline/writing stage so they planned ahead.  There's a good chance that they either scripted or filmed 2 endings.

yeah, you don't get it.  she has to rebuild her psyche first.  if you go out job hunting immediately a breakdown like that, good luck getting past first base.  therapy would help, but this is the emotional equivalent of a heart attack, you don't just hit the ground running.

I just had a mental video of Amy crooning "let me put my love into you babe".

Recently I was listening to music on youtube,  There was an Amy Winehouse ad played before the White Zombie video I was watching.  It seemed like a weird cross promotion.

For me personally, I will say that manic episodes can be scary, both for the person experiencing them, and to observers.  I have a lot of energy and my thought process is amped, and am often very creatively productive.  I sleep less and less, and that tends to affect the ability to think rationally over time.  For me

Looks like they were pretty clueless about Gellar and actually thought it was a shocking reveal.

I want to see the Ronnie meets OZ spinoff.

I just imagined the therapist being played by Jane Lynch.
