theyre both movies about the movies business, and how great an industry it is. movies about hollywood or just LA in general (eg Crash) do very well at the Oscars because the people who vote are mostly old nostalgic hollywood people, and they all want to reward each other for being in the business.

that rivalry is way oversold. the 2 teams only played 38 times total, out of 100+ possible years. with both teams being so mediocre lately its no big loss.
