I agree the CCM industry, as a whole, does not do a good job promoting the "best" music. It pushes the radio-friendly stuff with (they think) the widest appeal.
Not that anyone here really cares, but Casting Crowns is not considered a "rock" band in Christian music circles. It's more along the lines of adult contemporary pop. There are many talented Christian bands/artists out there today. Sure, the mainstream stuff gets tired and formulaic, but that goes for non-Christian…
