I agree that Nakadai was way more of a chameleon.  For instance, Nakadai plays the main heavy in both Yojimbo and Sanjuro yet he is almost unrecognizable in the latter.  He could play swaggering badass or disturbed wallflower equally well.

Usually movies don't show all the deaths they describe.  I actually think 13 Assassins showed more deaths than the mentioned number of people they had to kill.

I didn't think Travolta was that great in Pulp Fiction either.  I usually skip the diner scene and go right into the O.D. scene because that's the weakest part of the movie, IMO.
