Really appreciate all the jokes being told in the article

Brother Rapp to Ain't It Funky Now is the best goddamn one-two punch of all time and the best song transition ever

It felt pretty hollow. They wipe out scores of Mexican freedom fighters and it gets shrugged off

Yeah I saw him perform stand-up along with his writing crew. He was the least funny of them and his race jokes were tired and unfunny.

I wonder if Lamarck ever just sat in his room willing his dick to get bigger.  That would be the saddest growth chart in history

@avclub-6b160289536b8a7a7a2c161a02014e7c:disqus yeah those Augustinian friars were real party animals

@avclub-bca3531762af8a993c4f60c48fd5e33b:disqus It's true

Well, like moonshine to Jack Daniels or something.  Let's give Metallica some credit.

Just go with a liquor/drugs analogy for fucks sake.

I love Coogan but I don't think he can carry a show on his own (and here's the key part) that was written for a broad audience.  His style is too subtle and clever for your average CBS/TNT shit program and he's not charming enough to make bad or pedestrian material passable.

Mars Bar is closed you fuck

Don't apologize- that film is gorgeous and strange.  I hope it gets another remaster soon because it completely deserves it.

Would have been funnier if it was just a still of Ron looking pissed at Jerry for talking about his daughter's sex life while he was trying to fish

That Nigerian abattoir was the most hellish thing I've ever seen.  And I'm from Philadelphia!

Yeah, I am most-definitely seeing this one in theaters

@avclub-792b765aa995daf26cf6f17f519c949d:disqus hey don't ruin my white-washed, under-informed opinion of history. It's un-American!

Unless the actor made up the name Noriega, which he almost certainly did

Remember when we had politicians like Teddy Roosevelt who actually did awesome shit in real life instead of in movies/TV?

it's called prison and it's going extremely well!

Also, the bass was so loud at this show that I think elephants could hear it from Africa
