I agree - taken on its own, I don't really mind the finale. What pissed me off was that the show creators more or less lied to us the whole season about what the flash-sideways scenes were really about and that they meant something more than they ultimately did.

I'll be curious how the show does - I've read the novel (nothing specifically spoilery follows) and found it less interesting than I'd hoped. There are some great sections, but overall and for large stretches of the story, it didn't really make great use of the premise. It felt more like some folks dealing with

It seems great now, but just wait until it grows up, becomes territorial, and eats her.

What is…'spam'?

I'd buy that based on the name alone.

So you've simply been playing with us all along, AV Club. Is that all we are to you, puppets on strings to toy with for your own amusement?

A student of the Mad Magazine school of spoof names, I see.

I'm still not even sure I'm interested in GotG, but I absolutely loved this.

Hooray, I'm alive by virtue of being unambitious and boring……..oh

The only version of Monopoly I can really stand any more is with the homemade comedy versions of Chance & Community Chest cards we drew up some years back. They're completely unbalanced (intentionally), so you can potentially trade random bills or properties with opponents or gain and lose large percentages of your

Hence an underground casino.

The great thing about this comment is that you can drop it into any episode matchup and it still works!

The 2000s? Not too bad…definitely in the top four decades I've seen.

Well, that's about the most interesting news I've heard since they announced Eps. VII-IX. I've loved pretty much all of his work, although a franchise like Star Wars is about the last thing I would have thought of. I never really wanted any of the standalone movies, but now I'd almost be more interested in his take on

It's my firm belief that no actual person that anybody knows likes the book. Its fans are just this vague, formless mass that exists just outside our perception.

I WAS GOING TO MAKE THE JOKE ABOUT HIM BEING FIRED, DAMMIT

Man…so many matchups where I've only watched one of the shows. I find it hard to imagine I'd like the other contenders better than the Hannibal or Bob's Burgers episodes (or to a lesser extent, Rick and Morty), but I'd feel dirty voting for them.

I'm way more interested in watching Fargo now than I was when it was first announced, and I'll watch it as soon as possible, but I find it hard to believe that it will affect me as deeply as True Detective did. Even assuming it's great, it's still carrying the baggage of kinda-sorta remaking the Coen Bros. movie. I

I like that damn toy plane, but I hate Kate with all my heart.
